Fun getaway with friends!

We had a blast on the Fizz Friday break! The twin rooms were spotless and super comfy. Dinner was delish, but watch out for the tiny soup portion—like, three spoons max! Breakfast was awesome with a pancake machine, and the spa was a treat, though the chatter in the snooze room was kinda annoying.

So, we checked in and the reception was chaotic. The room we got was a disabled room, super messy, and it felt like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Dinner was well done, though! The girl serving us could’ve used some training. Not a great start to our weekend, honestly.

During our two-night stay, we loved the close proximity to St George's Park, just about a 15-minute walk away, where we enjoyed a leisurely stroll. additionally, Jacksons Bank was easily accessible and offered beautiful walking paths right at the edge of the city, making our explorations effortless and enjoyable.

The gym offers a proper fitness experience with extensive equipment spread across two levels. Extras like a punchbag. The spa impresses with unique features such as a swim-in cave and various steam rooms.

It felt frustrating to navigate through multiple calls without resolution. The building’s layout can feel cramped. I expected complimentary items like slippers but found they were not provided, despite the cost of the stay. The food, while serviceable, did not live up to the price tag, and breakfast lacked variety. The experience left me feeling less than satisfied, especially when considering the monetary investment.

hoar cross hall is a gem! the staff were genuinely pleasant, and it felt lovely walking through the beautiful gardens. i especially enjoyed the relaxing back massage at the spa, which was a real treat. the location is also great, being just a short stroll to downstairs in henry's cafe for a quick bite.
